3. Statement of Commitment
New Leaf Private Practice Therapy recognises safeguarding as a professional, ethical, and legal responsibility. The welfare of clients and others at risk is paramount.
4. Confidentiality and Safeguarding
Confidentiality may be broken where there is serious risk of harm, safeguarding concerns, or legal obligation.
5. Safeguarding Responsibilities
The counsellor acts as Safeguarding Lead and consults supervision where appropriate.
6. Online Safeguarding Practice
Secure platforms, identity checks, emergency contacts, and crisis planning are in place.
7. Review
This policy is reviewed annually or following any safeguarding incident.
